About Me:

From Rock Stars to Chihuahuas

Hi I’m Craig and I currently live in Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland. I have always been interested in art from a very young age when I would copy pictures off of my dads album covers in my bedroom with a school pencil, an eraser and a sheet of paper. As my intertest grew my parents bought me paints and other art materials but my first love was always graphite which I seemed to have a natural talent for.

I returned to art in my 20’s and would draw movie and rock stars for friends and relatives as gifts, this is when I discovered pastels and kept my hand in trying to improve my skills trying various techniques including digital art.

After a dog portrait demonstration in oil and a follow up try your own at my local art club I knew I had found my new passion and started experimenting with different mediums. I found that I was able to capture a great likeness with both pastels and my favourite, graphite and this is what has brought me on this new adventure.

I understands the joy and companionship that pets bring into our lives, and I pour that love and understanding into every portrait I create. Let me preserve your precious memories with a timeless work of art.
